FLIGHT PLANS
Be careful with the flight plans you use as there are very large disparities regardless of the system used, a situation that causes great differences in relation to real flight time.
ex. flights from LSZH to LPPT passing through LEZL etc.
This makes no sense at all in so far as these extra hours are taken into account, and it is clearly detrimental to pilots who make the same flight with correct routes.
Imagine LPPR - LPMA via BAVAS, where we have a flight of +/- 4 hours, when in fact the LPPR-LPMA flight would take +/- 1.30h
This situation was happening in all the va's, which, when they realized this situation, alerted and requested an update so that the system would not allow this to be undone.
So the system has been updated so that it works as follows:
1º A margin of 30 minutes is given to the time indicated by the system when booking the flight we are going to make.
ex: if you book a flight of 1hour the system gives a tolerance margin of more 30 minutes. If the 30 minutes margin is exceeded, the flight is rejected.
If, for reasons of major force, it is understood that flights are 100% ONLINE, the flight exceeds the time limit, the PIREP will be analysed and, if necessary, administratively approved.
The flight can be taken ONLINE, but if it has an objectively wrong route, the refused PIREP will not be reversed.
This update has been properly tested and is working at 100%
Thank you for your attention.
